Terry & Debbie have been serving in Uganda since 2005 and God is using them in a great way to encourage, equip and share Jesus with the Ugandan people and others throughout East Africa. Instilled within their hearts is a genuine love for the Ugandan people, other missionaries and non-profit workers who are serving in this part of the world. The churches and Bible schools they have helped to plant have impacted the lives of many people and they will continue to do so for future generations. They opened their home for a community Bible-Study in 2008 which has now grown to over 200 people and developed into the Acacia Community Church.
Terry is the director of the East-African Outreach Local Bible School ministry which partners with the Uganda Baptist Seminary. This ministry started in 2008 and has flourished throughout East Africa with over 75 Bible Schools and hundreds of graduates!. It’s exciting to be a part of a ministry that will change and shape the future of a country! We really believe that with proper theological-training we can change the future of Uganda!
